Today was so cold my 'tache grew ice. That was pretty cool.



But I'm trudging along my daily trudge to lunch, swearing out loud at the gusty wind and chomping on my Parlie, when the queerest thing happened: everyone just stopped and starting sort of bouncing on their heels. The helicopters started doing tight circles in the sky, all the taxis started blaring their horns to an unheard beat, and the street sweepers starting dancing a complicated choreography in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue. Even their foggy shoots of breath were perfectly synched!

Finally, as if out of nowhere, the Noonday Underground started playing.


My new headphones kick ass.
